

Announcement from Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) : Live Date for New Schemes Deployed in Electronic Preferential Certificate of Origin (ePCO)

Dear Valued Customers,
We refer to Ministry of International Trade and Industry letter, Ref No. MITI: ID/SKP/726-4/Jld.2(16) dated 5 January 2012 which is self-explanatory.
Please be informed that the LIVE implementation for the four (4) new schemes under ePCO commenced 9 January 2012. The schemes are:
• ASEAN-AUSTRALIA-NEW ZEALAND FTA (AANZFTA)
• ASEAN-INDIA FTA (AIFTA)
• MALAYSIA-NEW ZEALAND FTA (MNZFTA)
• ASEAN-JAPAN COMPREHENSIVE ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIP (AJCEP)
Pursuant to the enforcement, Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd (Dagang Net) will start charging customers for approved applications effective 26 January 2012.The National Single Window (NSW) Document Based Charges for ePCO will take effect as follows:
1. Standard plan – For each approved application is RM5.00 excluding Government Service Tax
2. ePCO eValue Plan – For each approved application is RM8.00 excluding Government Service Tax (waiver of RM200 annual fee and ideal for customer who submit less than 50 transactions a year).
Rejected application will not be charged. The charges will be billed to all users on a monthly basis by Dagang Net.
